Zimpacific was formed with an objective of creating a central information source to keep Zimbabweans living and working in New Zealand, Australia and neighbouring Islands in the South Pacific informed and updated on issues of interest.

The re-launch of the website in 2005 has been key to the aspirations of the Zimpacific team to see Zimbabweans in this region and Diaspora at large achieve their settlement goals, and the team hopes to engage and facilitate progressive ideas and networking between Zimbabweans and Friends of Zimbabwe and Africa.
